The client

Extrema is an italian company specialized in the design, engineering and production of lifting platform systems for people with disabilities. The attention for innovation, safety and components' quality has allowed Extrema to emerge as a reference in the european accessibility landscape.

The company's value is based not only on the product, but also on the world wide net of dealers and partners, that everyday are involved in suggesting, configurating, installing and certifying the devices. For this reason, Extrema has always had the necessity of maintaining a direct, fluid and professional rapport with those who fisically bring the products in homes and public spaces.

The challenge

With an ever expanding net, it became more and more urgent to give resellers a centralized instrument, that was both easy to use and powerful, able to make communication easier and automate the more repetitive processes.

The goal was to build an evolved client portal, able to allow dealers to work in autonomy, monitor order trends, generate offers and easily access all the necessary documents - from CE certificates to technical materials and marketing. The system had to become a day to day operational instrument, capable of simplifying the collaboraytion between Extrema and its sales net.

The solution

We developed a complete client portal, designed to become a natural extention of the relationship between Extrema and their dealers.

The platform enables each reseller to monitor in real time the order progress status, access the offers' history, download certifications and installation's documents, and directly communicate with the company.

The heart of the project is the online configurator, an intuitive and technical instrument that allows resellers to generate an offer in complete autonomy. By entering the project's specifications, the system gives back a personalized and precise estimate, ready to send to the final customer. The whole process has been designed to be fast, precise and replicable in international settings as well.

The interface has been designed to be accessible, fluid and coherent with Extrema's identity, while the technological infrastructure guarantees safety, scalability and the chance of integration with internal systems.

The result

The client portal has brought a net improvement in operative efficience and in resellers' satisfaction. Dealers can now work in complete autonomy, without having to constantly rely on the back office, and have found in the platform a daily work instrument that is easy, clear and complete.

Extrema has noticed a sensible streamlining of the internal flows, with less manual requests, less mistakes and faster response time. The relationship with partners strenghtened thanks to a digital experience that makes doing business together easier.

The project is in continuous evolution, with new incoming functionalities that will help support growth and internationalization. A concrete digital transformation, that made the rapport between Extrema and their net more effective, more direct and more modern.
